In Memoriam: Fred Jewer
Fred was a character, never lacking for a commentary from politics to the Avro Arrow.
He had numerous occupations, a long career with Ontario Highways and a position with Martin-Baker on Pine Street here in Collingwood, working on fighter ejection seats including that for the Avro Arrow. He enjoyed cars, especially his ‘Mini’.
Fred loved and was very proud of his family.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for October 30, 3-6 pm at the Canadian Legion.
